FAUST, 91, of 159 Log Road, Bronson, Mich., died July 21, 2002, at the Sturgis Hospital. She was born Sept. 10, 1910, in Burr Oak, Mich., a daughter of Jacob Morton and Annie Augusta (JANSEN) MAYER. Evelyn was a lifelong resident of Branch County, and for the past 22 years she spent the winters in Zepherhills, Fla. Clifford FAUST, now deceased, married her on June 19, 1937, in Sturgis. Evelyn was a graduate of Bur Oak High School and Western Michigan University where she received her teaching certificate. She then went on to teach 36 ½ years, the last 25 years in the Bronson Area Public Schools. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Bronson, and the Michigan Education Association, and she enjoyed gardening, traveling and going out to eat. Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Roger TALICH of Littleton, Colo., nieces and nephews, and grand-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1993, two sisters and five brothers. Friends and relatives may call after 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Rosenberg-Schipper Funeral Home Ltd. of Sturgis where the family will receive friends from 3:30-9 p.m. Religious services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Rev. Mona Joslyn officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, Coldwater. Memorials may be directed to the First United Methodist Church of Bronson or Sturgis Hospice.
