EDWARDS, 53, 202 S. Jefferson St., died Oct. 30, 1987, at the Sturgis Hospital Emergency Room. He was born May 21, 1934, in Vestaburg, a son of Charles and Edith (MARTIN) EDWARDS. He was a Sturgis resident for several years and self-employed as an electrician and handyman. Surviving are two daughters, Trudy EDWARDS and Cindy EDWARDS; one son, John EDWARDS, Plainwell; one sister, Sarah TRUMAN, Three Rivers; three brothers, Glen EDWARDS, Plainwell, Charles EDWARDS, Dayton, Ohio, and Harley EDWARDS, Sturgis; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Donald EDWARDS in 1985, Howard EDWARDS in 1962, and John EDWARDS in 1941. Relatives and friends may call after 6 p.m. today at the Foglesong Funeral Home, Sturgis, where the family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. today. Services are at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Dennis Owens, Sturgis Missionary Church, officiating. Burial will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery. END
