(Sam) EBERLY, 78, of R. 2, Dallas Bay Estates, Wolcottville, died Wednesday, July 20, at LaGrange Hospital, following an extended illness. He was born in Kosciusko County November 29, 1909, the son of Daniel E. and Emma S. (SNOKE) EBERLY. EBERLY was a farmer and had lived in Noble County most of his life. He was a member of Woodruff Grove United Methodist Church. He was married in Kendallville on November 14, 1940, to Mildred RAMER who survives. Also surviving are one son, James of LaGrange; two daughters, Gloria Ann CHAPMAN of Rome City and Mary Jane SQUIRE of Churubusco; three sisters, Martha MELLOTT of Toledo, Ohio, Beulah FRAIN of Topeka and Naomi BLACK of Albion; 13 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Calling hours are Saturday, July 23 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in Hutchins Funeral Home in Wolcottville. Funeral services will be Sunday, July 24 at 1:30 p.m. in the funeral home with Richard Fredrick officiating. Burial will be in Cosperville. Preferred memorials are to Woodruff Grove United Methodist Church. END
