She had been ill since December 23, 1992. She was born in Fort Wayne August 4, 1928, the daughter of Walter and June E. (COWELL) GATTON. Mrs. EHINGER resided in the area 20 years, moving here from Fort Wayne. She was in a partnership at Sears Catalog Store in LaGrange. She was a member of the St. Gaspar Catholic Church in Rome City. She was married in Fort Wayne August 2, 1947, to James EHINGER, who survives. Also surviving are a son, Kenneth of Rome City; two daughters, Beth CREIGH of Rome City and Sharon MICKELSON of Harlan; four half-brothers and 11 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. in St. Gaspar Catholic Church in Rome City with the Rev. Raymond Grevenkamp officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Wolcottville. Hutchins Funeral Home of Wolcottville is in charge of arrangements. Preferred memorials are to the family. END
