She was born March 1, 1982, in Kalamazoo, Mich., a daughter of Michael and Sue (COBBS) FRY. Cheryl had moved to Montana following her graduation with the class of 2001 from Ironwood High School in Glendale, Ariz., where she was very active in the marching band flag line and a member of the dance team. Her early life was spent in Sturgis until 1991 when she moved to Arizona. She was employed as a certified nurse assistant in the Alzheimer’s unit at Missouri River Manor in Great Falls and planned to become a registered nurse. Cheryl had also been employed by the Life Uniform Co. in Glendale. She had attended the First United Methodist Church in Sturgis, enjoyed reading and was a devoted fan of Reba McEntire. Surviving are; her mother, Sue FRY, of Sturgis; three sisters, her triplet, Casey Jo FRY of Phoenix, Ariz., Michele S. FRY, serving in the U.S. Navy and stationed in Kamiseya, Japan, and Hilary and the Rev. Timothy SINGLETON of Rudyard, Mont.; two nephews, Justin David and Nicholas Arthur SINGLETON; grandfather, Milan COBBS, Sturgis and two aunts, Sally BURNHAM and Norma COBBS, both of Sturgis. Preceding her in death were her other triplets, Cristy Lynn FRY and grandmother, Barbara COBBS. Friends and relatives may call after 6 p.m. Monday at the Hackman-Foglesong Funeral Home of Sturgis, where the family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services celebrating the life of Cheryl Kay FRY will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at the First United Methodist Church in Sturgis. The Rev. Robert Keim and the Rev. Timothy SINGLETON will officiate. A graveside committal will follow the service at the Burr Oak Cemetery in Burr Oak. As Cheryl and her triplet sisters were born prematurely, the family suggests those wishing to make a memorial donation in Cheryl’s memory consider the Bronson Methodist Hospital Neonatal Unit in Kalamazoo, Mich.
