EGOLF, 92, Churubusco, died Sunday, March 8, 1992, in DeKalb Hospital. She was born in Allen County May 18, 1899, the daughter of Joseph and Essie SMITH. Mrs. EGOLF was a former owner of Doug Out Grocery and Service Station. She was a member of the Bear Lake Church of God. She was married June 19, 1916, to Samuel J. EGOLF, who preceded her in death April 25, 1980. Surviving are two sons, Harold of Ashley and Alton of Avilla; two daughters, Marvel OBERMEYER of Grand Rapids, Ohio, and Garnet Rocke of Phoenix, Ariz.; 14 grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Three son, a daughter and a grandson preceded her in death. Funeral services are Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Johnson Funeral Home in Hudson with the Rev. Vern Noll officiating. Burial is in Christian Chapel Cemetery in Merriam. Preferred memorials to DeKalb County Cancer Society. END
