She had been in declining health for a number of years. Mrs. ELLIS was born in Sherman Township, Dec. 22, 1875, a daughter of Fred and Augusta (LAHRKE) GINTHER. She was united in marriage to Roy C. ELLIS, who preceded her in death in 1947. A son, Stuart, died in 1936. Mrs. ELLIS had lived all her married life in Denver, but was a regular visitor to the Sturgis area until her health began to wane. Survivors include four nieces, three nephews and several cousins. One of the nieces Mrs. W. B. MONCRIEFF, of Denver, will accompany the body to Sturgis, where it is expected to arrive late Saturday evening. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in the Foglesong Funeral Home, with the Rev. M. John Palmer, pastor of the First Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will take place in Oak Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the Foglesong Funeral Home beginning Sunday noon. END
