EDGERTON, 75, 69240 Vicky Drive, died April 11, 1989, at Greencroft Nursing Center, Goshen, Ind. She was born March 12, 1914, in Baltimore, Md., a daughter of George and Merna (FUNK) WILLIER. On Nov. 23, 1948, she married Gilbert H. EDGERTON, in Angola, Ind. he died Nov. 2, 1979. She was a Sturgis resident since 1938, coming from Fort Wayne, Ind. Before that, she lived in Baltimore. She retired in 1963 from Transogram, Sturgis, after several years of employment. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and the Eagles Auxiliary 1314, where she had been past madam state president from 1974-75. Surviving are two sons, Vance PARNIN, Panesville, Ohio, and David PARNIN, Bristol, Ind.; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one sister, Genevieve BRANDT, Fort Wayne. She was preceded in death by her parents. Relatives and friends may call anytime today at the Foglesong Funeral Home, Sturgis, where the family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today. Services are at 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Jack Lewis Prusell, First Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Max Baer Heart Fund in care of Eagles Lodge 1314. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. END
