ELLERT, 75, of Waterloo, died Friday, March 12, 1993, in Parkview Memorial Hospital, Fort Wayne. He was born in DeKalb County December 18, 1917, the son of Anthony and Margaret (BLOMEKE) ELLERT. Mr. ELLERT, a farmer in Franklin Township, worked for Crane Edmond Company in Butler for 15 years. He was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Waterloo. He was married in Fort Wayne February 15, 1947, to Anna Mae GIESKEN, who survives. Also surviving are four daughters, Marcia ELLERT of Ashley, Mary Jo MILLER of Fort Wayne, Peggy SHAW of Granger and Rita CLARK of Williamsburg, Mich.; a son, Daniel of Fort Wayne; a sister, Marguerite HARTER of Angola; three brothers, Anthony of Angola, Herman and Gilbert, both of Waterloo and six grandchildren. A son, Robert and a brother, Harold preceded him in death. Funeral services were held Monday at 11 a.m. at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Waterloo with Father David Carkenord officiating. Burial was in St. Michael’s Cemetery. Feller Funeral Home of Waterloo was in charge of arrangements. Preferred memorials are to the Dekalb County Cancer Society or Masses to the Church. END
