Mrs. ELLIOTT, formerly of Sturgis, died Saturday in Sparrow Hospital, Lansing. She was born in Bronson, Oct. 17, 1911, to Michael and Frances KOLASA. She lived in Sturgis during her girlhood and was graduated from Sturgis High School in 1930. In 1933 she was graduated from the Borgess Hospital School of Nursing, and had practiced her profession for many years. For the last four years she had been employed as a pubic health nurse in Shiawasee County. Mrs. ELLIOTT had been ill six weeks. Surviving are her husband, Bert ELLIOTT, to whom she was married Nov. 7, 1937; a son, Donald, Durand; two grandchildren; her parents; three sisters, Mrs. C.H. (Grace) BLANCHARD of Cincinnati, Ohio; Mrs. Howard (Virginia) SMITH of Grand Rapids, and Mrs. Kenneth (Eugenia) GUNTHORP of Coldwater; and one brother, Eugene KOLASA, of Sturgis. END
