EDIE, 16, 11097 U.S. 12, died Oct. 17, 1992, as a result of injuries received in an automobile accident. She was born in Sturgis, July 1, 1976, in Sturgis, a daughter of Louis N. and Carol A. (CLOUD) EDIE. She was a lifelong resident of the White Pigeon area and she was a junior at White Pigeon High School. She was in the Gifted and Talented Program and this summer she had participated in a program for gifted students at Alma College. She was recently initiated into the National Honor Society and she was currently the top scholar of her class. She was on the volleyball team and a member of the French Club, SADD( Students Against Driving Drunk), and the Bristol, Ind., Church of the Nazarene. Surviving are her parents, Louis and Carol EDIE, White Pigeon; one brother, Larry N. EDIE, White Pigeon; maternal grandmother, Lucile CLOUD, Edwardsburg; paternal grandfather, Louis N. EDIE Sr., Port Huron; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Relatives and friends may call after 3 p.m. today at the Farrand Funeral Home, White Pigeon, where the family will receive friends from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. today. Services are at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at the White Pigeon United Methodist Church with the Rev. Gary Sparks, Bristol Church of the Nazarene, officiating. Memorials may be directed to the Amy C. EDIE Memorial Fund. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. END
