EATHERTON, 67, died March 27, 1995, at the home of her daughter where she had been making her home. She was born July 29, 1927, in Battle Creek, a daughter of Otto and Floella (GREEN) SULT. In 1946, she married Melvin (Bud) EATHERTON. He died in 1989. In the 1950s, she worked at the Old Hop Shop and later four years at the Weston Biscuit Company. She then was housekeeping supervisor at Arrowood Nursing Home and later was promoted to dietary supervisor. She retired in 1990 after being employed there 13 years. She was a member of the Urbandale Baptist Church and Mottville Community Church. She was a lifelong Battle Creek resident except the past five years when she lived with her daughter in White Pigeon. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, quilting and being with her family. Surviving are three sons, James and Michael EATHERTON, both of Battle Creek, and Michael BLAKE, Kansas City, Kan.; one daughter, Deborah FRAME, White Pigeon; 14 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Betty KING, St. Anns, Mo., Carolyn TUNER and Marita IRVING, who was raised by Mrs. EATHERTON and her husband, both of Battle Creek. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Winfred, Leon and Elmo SULT. Relatives and friends may call after 6 p.m. today at the Farley-Estes Funeral Home, 105 Capital Ave., N.E., Battle Creek, where the family will be present from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday. Services are at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Urbandale Baptist Church with the Rev. Louis C. Lowndes officiating. Burial will be in Bedford Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Hospice of Sturgis. END
