She was born July 15, 1916, in Anderson, Ind., a daughter of Charles Sr. and Margaret (BENSON) SHELDON. On Dec. 26, 1941, she married Sam C. EAGAN, in Sturgis. He died in January 1979. She was a lifelong Sturgis resident and she was a graduate of Sturgis High School. She was a homemaker and a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church, the Star of the Sea of the church and the Sturgis Writers Guild. Surviving are two sons, Timothy S. EAGAN and Charles B. EAGAN, both of Sturgis; seven grandchildren, Lee Ann EAGAN, Lakeland, Fla., Kellyn EAGAN, Timothy S. EAGAN II, Nicole EAGAN, Samuel EAGAN, Marci EAGAN and Russell EAGAN, all of Sturgis. She was preceded in death by one sister, Isabel HUSS; and one brother, Charles SHELDON Jr. There will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place. The Funeral Mass is at 11 a.m. Friday at Holy Angels Catholic Church, Sturgis, with the Rev. James Pearl officiating. Burial of the cremains will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Sturgis. Arrangements were handled by the Rosenberg-Schipper Funeral Home, Sturgis. Memorials may be directed to Holy Angels Catholic School. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. END
