FULLRIEDE Jr., age 84, of Constantine, Mich., died Thursday, May 2, 2002, at the Heartland Health Care Center in Three Rivers. He was born Aug. 29, 1917, in Chicago, Ill., a son of Fred and Gertrude (KINDLER) FULLRIEDE, Sr. On Oct. 14, 1939, he married Evelyn BERNDT in Chicago, Ill. Fred worked in the Ice&Coal Business with his father in Chicago and later operated his farm in Constantine. He then went to work for Constantine Schools as a custodian and bus driver, retiring in 1980 after 25 years of employment. He was a member of the Constantine Grange since 1946 and the St. Joseph County Grange Fair board for many years. He was also a member of the Messiah Lutheran Church in Constantine, where he served as custodian. Fred is survived by his wife Evelyn, Constantine; five daughters, Sandra and Randy ESTES of South Haven, Julie LINN, Charlene and Ron LEACH, Shelley and Mark SLENTZ, all of Three Rives, and Cindy FULLRIEDE and Ken ANDREWS, Constantine; nine grandchildren, Ron (Jacquie) LUTZ, Brian (Kathy) LUTZ, Jeff (Christy) LINN, Ken (Lisa Coney) LINN, Kris (Shelly) LEACH, Trent (Shellie) LEACH, Jason, (Dierdra) LEACH, Aubrey DERDA and Elizabeth SLENTZ; 14 great-grandchildren; a brother, Herman (Margaret) FULLRIEDE, Coloma; a sister, Doris (Charles) DUNCOMBE, Houston, Texas; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Henry and William FULLRIEDE. Relatives and friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the Eley Funeral Home in Constantine, where services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday. Fred’s grandson, Pastor Brian LUTZ of the Osolo Missionary Church, will officiate. Interment will be in Constantine Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Messiah Lutheran Church. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. END
