LaVerne EATON, 68, 3015 Norwood Lane, died April 14, 1994, at the Goshen, Ind., Hospital, of an apparent heart attack. He was born June 24, 1925, in Howe, Ind., a son of Clarence J. and Bessie (ELLSWORTH) EATON. On Oct. 17, 1953, he married Natalee BENDER. He had lived in Arlington since 1967, coming from Elkhart, Ind. He was employed as an electrical engineer. He was a member of the First Christian Church, Arlington, the church choir, the Scottish Rite Temple, Fort Wayne, Ind., and he was a 32nd Degree Mason. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, serving during World War II. Surviving are his wife; one son, Randall P. ARLINGTON; one sister, Mrs. Dorothy HORNER, Sturgis; and three brothers, Ellsworth, Northbrook, Ill., C.J., Glenview, Ill., and Carroll, Sturgis. Relatives and friends may call 4-8 p.m. today (Ind.time) at the Miller Funeral Home, Middlebury, Ind., where services are at 2 p.m. Sunday. The Rev. James Simpsosn, St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Middlebury, will officiate. Burial will be in Grace Lawn Cemetery, Middlebury. END
