BROTHERS, 84, of 307 Franks Ave., Sturgis, Mich., died Jan. 27, 2003, at Sturgis Hospital following a short illness. She was born Jan. 11, 1919, in Ann Arbor, a daughter of Glen and Regina (ANKNEY) KNIGHT, and was a Sturgis resident most of her life. On Feb. 6, 1937, she married Lewis F. BROTHERS in Sturgis. He died Oct. 4, 1997. She was employed at Kirsch Company, retiring in 1980. She was a member of the Holy Angels Catholic Church. Surviving are; a son, Daniel A. BROTHERS of Kalamazoo; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Helen YEAGER of Sturgis and Jean SWAN of LaGrange, Ind.; four brothers, Frederick KNIGHT of Sturgis, Don RASBAUGH of Ligonier, Ind., David RASBAUGH of McHenry, Ill., and Joseph RASBAUGH of Burr Oak; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; infant son, Leo; a sister, Kathleen KNIGHT; and step-father, Frederick RASBAUGH. There will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Holy Angels Catholic Church of Sturgis with the Rev. Stanley Witek officiating. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes are available at the Farrand Funeral Home in White Pigeon, which is handling the arrangements. END
