He was born March 22, 1928, in LaGrange County, a son of Frank and Beatrice (BERTRAM) ELLIOTT. On Oct. 16, 1949, he married Reta Anne BOOTH, in Brighton. He was a retired State Farm Insurance agent with 33 years of service and he was a lifelong LaGrange resident. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving during World War II. He was a life member of he LaGrange American Legion Post 215 and the Disabled American Veterans, and a member of the LaGrange Moose Lodge 1351, the meridian Sun Lodge 76 F&AM, LaGrange, and the Mount Zion Lutheran Church, LaGrange. Surviving are his wife; two daughters, Mrs. LeLand (Deborah) A. WICKEY, Centreville, Mich., and Mrs. William (Teresa) M. BROWN, Churubusco; two sons, William BOOTH ELLIOTT, LaOtto, and Bert L. ELLIOTT, LaGrange; eight grandchildren; his mother, Beatrice ELLIOTT, LaGrange; two sisters, Mrs. Walter (Lauretta) QUAST, Sierra Vista, Ariz., and Mrs. Merlin (Barbara) SCHEMAHORN, Wolcottville; and one brother, Robert ELLIOTT, LaGrange. Relatives and friends may call from 6-8 p.m. today and 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Frurip-May Funeral Home, LaGrange, where Masonic services are at 8 p.m. Friday. Services are at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Mount Zion Lutheran Church, LaGrange, with the Rev. Lowell Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, LaGrange American Legion Post 215. Memorials may be directed to the LaGrange County Cancer Society. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. END
