EASH, 82, of 13525 CR30, Goshen, died Friday, September 11, at Goshen General Hospital where he was a patient three weeks. He was born in LaGrange County November 28, 1904, and lived in Elkhart County 57 years. At one time he operated a poultry processing plant at his home. He was a member and minister of the Old Order Amish Church. He was married near Middlebury March 27, 1930, to Mary HERSHBERGER, who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Orie (Katie) BONTRAGER of Shipshewana and Mrs. Ray (Ruby) MILLER of Goshen; three sons, Mel of Goshen, Lee of Carlsbad, N.M., and Ray of Middlebury; two half-brothers the Rev. Ben MILLER of Dunlap and Jerry EASH of Orlando, Fla.; four step-sisters, Mrs. Menno (Sadie) HERSHBERGER of Independence, Iowa, Mrs. Emanuel (Katie) MULLET of Wilton, Wis., Mrs. Levi (Lydia Ann) MILLER of Millersburg, Ohio and Mrs. Eli (Malinda) MAST of Sarasota, Fla.; a step-brother, Ben EASH of California; 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. A brother, a sister, two step-sisters and two step-brothers preceded him in death. Funeral services were held Monday at 9 a.m. in the Ray C. Miller home with Bishop Jesse Schlabaugh and the Rev. David Yoder officiating. Burial was in Thomas Cemetery. Yoder-Culp Funeral home of Goshen was in charge of arrangements. END
