EAGLESON, 84, Route 2, died Aug. 5, 1987, at LaGrange Hospital, following a three month illness. She was born March 27, 1903, in Elkhart County, a daughter of Webster and Sylvia (HOSTETLER) MEHL. On April 27, 1922, she married S. Everett EAGLESON in Albion. He died Feb. 2, 1973. She was a lifelong LaGrange resident and a member of the East Springfield Methodist Church, the Springfield Township Home Economics Club and the Ladies Aide of the church. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Dayton (Donabell) HUFF and Mrs. F. James (Maxine) BOLIN, both of LaGrange, and Mrs. Richard (Kathryn) GRAVIT, Howe; two sons, Wayne EAGLESON, LaGrange, and Dick EAGLESON, Howe; 26 grandchildren; 57 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Darlo MEHL, Shipshewana; and one sister, Mrs. Dale (Mildred) NOFZIGER, Bothel, Wash. she was preceded in death by one son, Donovan EAGLESON, in March 1974; and two grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. (Ind. time) Friday at the Frurip-May Funeral Home, LaGrange, where services are at 10 a.m. (Ind.time) Saturday. The Rev. Carldean Merrifield will officiate. Burial will be in East Springfield Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the East Springfield Methodist Church. END
