EDGINGTON, 80, of Prairie River Road, Bronson, died Feb. 2, 1997, at her home following a lengthy illness. She was born Dec. 8, 1916, in Bronson, a daughter of Ernie and Mabel (FISK) MILLIMAN, and was a lifelong Bronson area resident. On Nov. 11, 1935, she married Joseph EDGINGTON in Bryant, Ohio. She was office manager at the Bronson office of Consumer’s Power Company for more than 26 years, retiring in 1976. After her retirement, she was a volunteer at the Community Health Center of Branch County. A member of the American Business Women’s Association (ABWA), she was selected as Woman of the Year in 1967. She also was a member and past president of the Bronson Women’s Club. She attended the Pleasant Hill Missionary Church and enjoyed bowling, golf, oil painting, crocheting and spending time with her family. Surviving are her husband; one daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Gordon MILLER of Coldwater; three grandchildren, Pamela BOWERS and Lisa HARRELL, both of Coldwater and Rick MILLER of Bronson; and nine great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Kolcz Funeral Home, Bronson, where services are at 11 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Don Matteson of Pleasant Hill Missionary Church officiating. Burial will be in the Fry Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer’s Foundation. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
