EDGINGTON, 102 110 N. Maple St., died Feb. 27, 1995, at her home. She was born Dec. 6, 1892, in Jay County, Ind., a daughter of J.C.L. and Grace (MURDICK) WHITEMAN. On Sept. 28, 1911, she married Paul EDGINGTON, in Bryant, Ind. He died July 15, 1979. She was a Sturgis resident the past 73 years, coming from Indiana. She was a lifelong homemaker and attended the First Baptist Church. She attended Tri-State University, Angola, Ind., two years and she was a member of Jacobs Rebekah Lodge 5. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting and caring for her family. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Donald (Betty) HUNSBERGER, Sturgis; two son, Paul EDGINGTON, Sturgis and Joseph EDGINGTON, Bronson; 11 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and one brother, Donavan WHITEMAN, Sun City, Ariz. She was preceded in death by her parents; and two sons, James Robert EDGINGTON and Richard EDGINGTON when he was an infant. Relatives and friends may call after 6 p.m. today at the Hackman-Foglesong Funeral Home, Sturgis, where the family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. today. Graveside services are at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Oak Lawn Cemetery, Sturgis, with the Rev. James Bender, First Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will follow the service. Memorials may be directed to the Michigan Cancer Foundation or the charity of one’s choice. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. END
