EASH, 93, Goshen, died Monday, August 5, 1996, at Greencroft Health Care, where she was admitted October 27, 1994. She was born October 6, 1902, in Elkhart County, to Eli and Katie (MILLER) HERSHBERGER. She was a member of the Old Order Amish Church and a homemaker. She married Enos W. EASH March 30, 1930. He died September 11, 1987. Survivors include one daughter, Katie (Mrs. Ora) BONTRAGER, Shipshewana; three son, Melvin, Goshen, Levi, Carlsbad, N.M., and Raymond, Middlebury; one sister, Polly (Mrs. William) YODER, Goshen; one brother, Amos HERSHBERGER, Burr Oak, Mich.; 12 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Ruby MILLER, who died January 20, 1993; two sisters, Lizzie MILLER and Susie MILLER; four brothers, Joe, Menno, Levi and Ezra HERSHBERGER; and one granddaughter, Anita THACKER. Calling is after 4 p.m. Tuesday and all day Wednesday in the home of her granddaughter, Rosetta (Mrs. John) YODER, 12525 CR 30, Goshen. The funeral is 9:30 a.m. Thursday, in the Ray Miller residence at 13492 CR 30, with Bishop Jesse Slabach and David Yoder of the Old Order Amish Church officiating. Burial will be in Thomas Cemetery, rural Goshen. Preferred memorials are to the donor’s choice. Yoder-Culp Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. END
