Community Hospital. He was born July 27, 1913, in Boston, Mass., a son of Charles H. and Mary A. (COTTER) EGGLESTON. In 1967, he married Iona J. THORNTON. He attended the Robert Gould Shaw School, West Roxbury, Mass., and the English High, Boston. During World War II, he worked at the Boca Raton Airfield and after the war, he purchased the Inlet Dock, Palm Beach, Fla. He retired from Inlet Dock and became manager of Harbor Master with Marina Enterprises, Bimini, Bahamas. after his return to the United States, he became manager of Palm Beach Marina and later he returned to yachting and became a member of he staff of W.L. Lyons Brown, owner of the Brown Ford Distilling Company. From 1969-74, he and his wife owned and operated a business and after its sale he was employed at Boca West, a residential resort club. He retired in 1985 and he and his wife lived summers in Colon and winters in Florida. He was involved in yachting and ocean fishing. Surviving are his wife; one adopted daughter, Christine EGGLESTON WILLIAMS, Vero Beach, Fla., and St. Thomas Virgin Islands; and one niece. Services are at 2 p.m. today at the Spencer Funeral Home, Athens, with the Rev. George Ross officiating. Burial will be in Sherwood Cemetery. END
