BUCKNELL, 80, of Sherman Township, Rt. 3, Sturgis, died Sunday evening at Sturgis Memorial Hospital after several months of failing health. Mrs. BUCKNELL was born in Branch County on May 25, 1883 a daughter of Lucius and Anetta (PAXSON) FILLMORE. On Nov. 1, 1905 she married Chester A. BUCKNELL in Nottawa. They had resided on a farm in Sherman Township for the last 34 years. She attended Nottawa schools, the Nottawa Methodist Church and was a member of the Nottawa Women's Club. Survivors include her husband, a daughter, Mrs. Pearl ROSS, of Colon, a grandson, Lynn ROSS of Morley, Mich., two great-grandchildren, two brothers, Vern FILLMORE, of Coldwater, and Clare FILLMORE, of Detroit and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Schipper Funeral Home with the Rev. Donald Cozadd of the First Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will take place in Nottawa Cemetery. END
