BURCH, SKELLENGER, FREDENBURG, HORNER, GILKISON, INGERSON John BURCH, 86, Dies Following 6 Month Illness. Leonidas; John A. BURCH, 86, died Tuesday morning in a Battle Creek Hospital, after a six month illness. He was born in Leonidas, Nov. 27, 1877, the son of James and Eliza (SKELLENGER) BURCH. On May 15, 1902, he was married to Blanche FREDENBURG, who survives. Mr. BURCH was a farmer in Leonidas Township and did custom butchering for more than 60 years. Surviving, besides his wife, are two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Beatrice) HORNER, or Athens, and Mrs. Lillian GILKISON of Middlebury, Ind.; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Clara INGERSON, of Chicago, Ill. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Spencer Funeral Home in Athens with the Rev. Fay Logan, pastor of the Factoryville Bible Church, officiating. Interment will take place in the Factoryville Cemetery. END
