Main St., died unexpectedly at her residence, Friday afternoon. Mrs. BRICKER was born in Paulding County, O., Oct. 22, 1890, a daughter of William and Emelie (BROWN) COURT. When yet a child, the family moved to Jay County, Ind., where in February, 1909, she was married to Andrew DAUGHERTY. She came to Mendon in 1921. On Nov. 2, 1937, she was married to Isaac C. BRICKER. She was a member of the Methodist Church, the WSCS, a past president of Grace Circle, a member of the East Side Club, the Pinochle Club and an active worker at Fairview Hospital in Centreville. She is survived by her husband; one daughter, Mrs. Phinnes (Treva) SPEALMAN, of Kalamazoo; four sons, Ortha and Arlet DAUGHERTY, both of Kalamazoo, Foster DAUGHERTY of Vandalia and Cova DAUGHERTY, of Grand Rapids; 13 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. Also surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Earl SPEALMAN of Mendon; Mrs. Inez McEWEN of Kalamazoo; and Mrs. Velma JONES of Sturgis. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Eickhoff Funeral Home with the Rev. Floyd McCarty, pastor of the Mendon Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will take place in Mendon Cemetery.
