She was born in Mendon on Sept. 29, 1904. The daughter of the late Edward and Mary (DAY) RANDALL. She was married to Howard HUGHEY on April 26, 1924 in Kalamazoo and had resided here since her marriage. Mr. HUGHEY died Nov. 11, 1981. She was a homemaker and Member of Eagles Auxiliary. Surviving are 2 daughters, Mrs. Leonard (Beverly Jean) PLONKA of Dearborn Heights, MI; and Mrs. Richard (LaVona) (Bonnie) CALLEN of Kalamazoo; 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; 1 sister, Emma QUARRY of Kalamazoo; and a sister-in-law, Mrs. Robert (Marguerite) MILLER of Colon. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by 2 sons, Kenneth and Merrald; 1 sister, Ethel KOSTER and a brother, Elmer RANDALL. Friends may call anytime today at the Eickhoff Funeral Home, Mendon. Where the family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with David Farrell of Colon officiating.
