Victor OSGOOD a farmer living near Mendon died at the farm home Thursday, Jan. 17. He was 61 years of age. Mr. OSGOOD was born on the farm home north of Mendon Nov. 10, 1857. He attended the rural school in his home district, the Mendon High School and later Parsons Business College. He was for some time connected with the Osgood Bros. Bank at Mendon, later he was in the clothing business with ?. J. Stephens. He was married to Mary McMILLEN Feb. 12, 1881 to whom were born two children, one dying in infancy, the other Verne survives. Mrs. OSGOOD proceeded him in death six years ago. He is survived by his son Verne, three grandchildren, Kirk, Esther and Leonard, one brother Charles and two nephews, Leonard and Don. Funeral services were held at the Methodist church at Mendon conducted by Rev. Cosner. Services were in charge of the Masonic Order. Interment was made in the Mendon Cemetery. END
