All are mentioned in Nelson's will, which was made 14 February, 1867 and probated 20 February, 1867 in Cass Co. Nelson Curtis died 15 February, 1867 in Newberg Twp., Cass Co. My connection to the Curtis clan is through Martin Curtis' wife, Sally Ann Weatherwax. Martin and Sally, although buried in Sand Hill Cemetery, Newberg Twp., Cass Co., were lifetime residents of St. Joseph County.
