I am looking for descendants of Amos BARNES related surnames are GOODENOUGH PASCO SIXBY and WYCOFF Amos moved to White Pigeon, between 1835 and 1840 where he shows up there in the 1840 census He came from Cato, Cayuga, County New York where he was probably born in 1789 he is the son of John Coon BARNES. and his sister Anna married Abel A PASCO son of Abel PASCO all of these persons are in the 1845 census for White Pigeon and they are living next to each other in the 1850 census. Amos married an Anna or Annis in New York, and he died in White Pigeon 8 December 1868 but cannot find his wife after the 1860 census. The 1850 census lists sons David and Calvin and their sister Orpha SIXBY she married Ephriam SIXBY and had at least three children by him John Frank E. and Susan but cannot find Ephraim any where except in the marriage index. I also know that their daughter Maria married Peter V WYCOFF and had two boys and died in Marshall Calhoun County about 1855 or so as Peter married Esther A WRIGHT in 1857.
