    1. [MISTJOSE] William H. Sturm/Ailleen Carrie Weckler
    2. Donna (Collier) Dietrich
    3. I'm trying to locate a place of death for William H. STURM who died in 1932, he was born in 1857. He is buried in Stark Co, IL, but IL has no record of death for him. Also trying to find an obit on him. In his wife's probate records in 1913 it listed a daughter, Ailleen Carrie WECKLER living in St. Joe, Michigan. This is a long shot, but I'm going to try here. Does Michigan have a death index somewhere? Thanks for any help anyone can give me. Even if I could find where his daughter is buried that might lead me to some more information. Donna in PA

    1. [MISTJOSE] Cole Family Inquiry
    2. Larry Dee & Erin Alheim
    3. Hello, I am new to this list and requesting a look up or any information that can be given to me. I am looking for information on my GGG Uncle Chauncey G. Cole and his wife Catherine, and also his parents John (my GGG Grandfather) and Mary A. Cole. The family resided in Mendon, Michigan (St. Joseph County) I have them in the census reports. I have also found them in the St. Joseph County Death Index, 1867-1929 - I was wondering if someone could look up the information and either copy it for me or send it to me - this is the information that I found: Chauncey Cole / Book 2 / Page 206 John N. Cole / Book 2 / Page 208 Mary A. Cole / Book 2 / Page 90 Evalyn J. Cole / Book 1 / Page 210 If anyone has any information on this family I would love to hear about them. Chauncey and Catherine's children were as follows: Daul E. (First name spelling is very iffy); Phebe G.; Mary E.; Katherine G.; and Andy E. The other look up I am interested in is the 1897 Atlas for St. Joseph County, in Mendon Township, Section 12. I am looking for Chauncey and Catherine Cole. Thanks so much for any help you can give me! Deirdre Alheim (Helena, Montana)

Do you know how Centreville got it's name? Why was it called Centreville? Is it the center of something? I'll pass along any responses to the person who asked me.
