He was born on Dec. 10, 1868, died in 1904, and is buried in the Leonidas, MI cemetary. The stone adjacent to his says "Annie b. 1867" but there is no death entry. If this is the Edwin you are related to, then I have a copy of a family history written in the late 1800s that I would be glad to share. Please contact me at my e-mail address which you can access through this message board. Kathy

This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Everet, Everett, Armstrong Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/JIB.2ACI/12624 Message Board Post: Linney(Lynney) Armstrong, of Schoolcraft, Kalamazoo Co. married Pete Everet of Park, St Joseph Co in 1842. Linney died young leaving husband Pete and sons Hiram and William Everet(Everett). Both sons were volunteers in the Civil War. Hiram passed away at the age of 18, killed in action at Stone River Tennessee on Dec. 31, 1862. Hiram had enlisted from his hometown of Three Rivers, into company E of the Eleventh Infantry on August 24, 1861 and mustered the same day. His enlistment was for three years, but a year and four months later he was dead on the battlefield. Was Hiram brought back to Michigan? Is Linney buried in St Joseph County? Her folks are all at the Schoolcraft Twp Cemetery. Is there a listing of the graves at the North Park Cemetery? Any information very welcome! Dorothy Paul
