Dear List, I am still looking for family information on the above surnames. All found in Joplin, Mo area and Baxter Springs. A little trivia for the genealogy ghosts. I just moved to the Joplin area a year ago and a week ago I went the gen library and pulled one family members birth announcement of 1902. It stated they had had a baby girl on such and such streets. That is where I live now. Another thing is that I had never seen my fathers obit ( JACK DYKE BRITTAIN b: 1918 Joplin d: 1974 Montana). I received a copy about 6 months ago and it said "and daughter Vikki Brittain of Joplin, Mo"......yes, I think I was meant to be here and to be doing a study of my family history.
