    3. I can not believe the responses I have gotten..I want to thank everyone for being so helpful. it means alot. Okay. I have already gotten his social security application..(mainly to see who his parents were.) His full name was : David William Landis b. May 19, 1909 in Belton Missouri d. October 1958 Liberty Missouri m&d Ruth E. Pritchard of Columbus Ohio (Together they had my mother, not sure of other siblings) David's father: George Wiseman Landis his mother: Mary Alberta Elwell (she went by Alberta) (Odd thing about Ruth (his wife), her STEP-grandmother (Ida Butterworth) married a man from Columbus named William Landis, we have wondered if they were related and that was how Ruth and David met...possible...) I only found out this weekend where he was living at the time of his death so I haven't had a chance to get an obit..being as there are 3 Liberty's in 3 counties I thought I would narrow down the search a little to do a search in those counties. and try to find a date for his death as well. David lived in 3 states that I know of so far: Ohio, Kansas and Missouri. At one time he was staying with his brother in Kansas before moving to Missouri. This is about all I have right now. And once again thank you EVERYONE for helping me I really appreciate it and can see some team work going on with the list,,,which is awesome. If I can help any of you here in Tennessee please let me know.
