Hi Everyone, I really need your help! If you have time please read this. My Ggrandmother died in Ark. aprox 1918? she was in her very earlier twenties. She is from MO.somewhere. :( Ark. can't find her death certificate etc. All I know is where she's buried at in Ark. My grandmother ( her daughter ) was about three yrs old when she died so all info on her back then was lost. My Ggrandmothers name is Minnie Elzora LANE. She had a brother named William Washington LANE. Their Fathers name is William Henry LANE. The children were born later 1880's. I can't find a census on the Internet for a full state in the years 1890,1900 and 1910. I figure with that I could find the father and the children listed. I don't know what their mothers name is, I was also told that the father remarried because the mother had died. Yes, I've been on and still on a LANE surname list. My grandmother used to say that the father William Henry Lane was either from or lived in a place that sounded like.... Harm, Har-rum , MO. Then a friend of mine said one day on the T.V. they were talking about a town or something that to her sounded like the Harm etc. I was talking about but she couldn't catch it. She didn't know if it was in St.Louis or around that area they were talking about. Willam Washington LANE did live in MO. He died in 1962. I don't know when he ever moved to St.Louis. He was married in Memphis,TN. to Marcella Janette in 1937. This was her second marriage and they had no children together. Please if you can help in any way I really need your help. If you know of a web site that has full census for those years or anything please let me know. I have been trying to find any info I'm looking so hard I'm geting brain dead or it all know what I mean? It's so hard without knowing what county.
