I am seeking any information on my great-grandfather (who may have had a Missouri connection) William Calvin Miller b. December 1843 in Dongola, Union, Illinois m. Amanda Elizabeth Holshouser. He is thought to have lived in Kentucky or Missouri from prior to 1850 til about 1860 or after. He is thought to have returned to Southern Illinois by 1870. We think his mothers name may have been Nancy but his fathers given name is unknown. Both of his parents were born in South Carolina. His children are: Della Miller, Ausba James Miller, Alice V. Miller, Virginia Miller, Guy Calvin Miller and stepson Dennis Brown. Any information or advice you can share will be greatly appreciated.
