Just uploaded a new page on the history Fort Belle Fontaine. New photos of the site including panoramic views and even a photo of the "Beautiful Fountain" spring itself. Right now I am in search of rosters of soldiers stationed there. I know they must be a national archives micro film roll out there some place. However I did manage to find a roster of a officers of a militia "rangers" company that heralded from the area of the fort. Should have those up sometime this week. **I would be interested in including information about anyone's ancestors stationed at this fort. Photos were taken with my new Canon PowershotDigital Elph.
