HELP! I host a website called The POORHOUSE STORY (a clearinghouse for information about 19th century American poorhouses)at http://www.poorhousestory.com We just posted a picture postcard image of a Workhouse in Kansas City, Mo. But ... Yikes! Our website identifies poorhouses by state & COUNTY. I can't figure out what county (counties?) Kansas City is in. (Yup, I know that is bad grammar.) I need to know the counties to which to post the announcement of this workhouse image ... and to ask questions to encourage people to tell us more about this institution. Could KC be in CLAY & Jackson & Platte Counties ... ALL of them?!
