Tip for those who seach the Ancestor.com pedigree trees When you get a pedigree up on the screen but dont see the name you want right off. go down to the bottom of the screen where is says look up name and just type in the surname of the tree. You will get back the index of all of the people listed anywhere in that tree and can click right to those that seem most promising. Also you can copy the whole list off for later reference in case you missed some clue. just remember to go find the submitter and store that with your list. Off shoot families can be sorted out by the same method. Dont see your tieing in name just ask it to look up the surname of the spouse. even if you dont find the given name you may find a cousin marriage in the same location even on the same day!!! Neat stuff!
