    1. [MO] Help with a county?
    2. My gggrandfather attended a veteran's reunion in 1885, and the record shows his post office at that time was "Pilot Grove". Can anyone tell me where that is or especially in what county is it? Thank you for any help on this! Laura

    3. Laura, There are 12 different places in Missouri that have the name of Pilot Grove. If you go to the following address (URL) you will be able to look at each one: http://geonames.usgs.gov/gnisform.html After you access the USGS National Mapping Information form, type "Pilot Grove" in the block titled "Feature Name". Then type in click on the space titled "State or Territory". This will give you a drop-down menu with the states on it. Page down to Missouri and click on it. Then click on "Send Query" and you'll get back your answer. Good Luck, George Patterson Lincoln, CA Researching: Patterson, Green, Hitchcock, and Williams
