I am trying to find a record of Jacqueline Basquet, whom I believe married my ancestor Elias Butler Queen about 1842 in either MO or AR.. I believe a son, Samuel was born to this couple in 1843 and then Jacqueline died. In 1846 Elias married Edna Petty, (Pettys had Indian blood too) and they had a son in 1848. Edna died in childbirth. Son, James was b in MO. In 1849 Elias married Martha Jane Barber and by 1850 they were in Williamson Co TX with a baby girl, Texanna, my g grandmother. I have no proof of Jacqueline Basquet except a little slip of paper in my mothers keepsakes for the family telling about her being French, and Elias being Indian. Can anyone shed any light on this mystery lady for me? Thanks, Linda
