I am researching my GGF who was Cherokee and born in South West City, MO on8/20/1859 His surname was Grayhown. I believe his mother to be Ka HawkerBushyhead whom I find on the Dawes Commission Roles. I find numerous bits ofinfo on other Bushyhead's but cannot link Ka Hawker to any. My GGF laterused the name James Madison Graham and in the 1910 census used the nameJames Madison Grayhown. I am trying to determine if SW City, MO has a FamilyHistory Center or if there are other resources in the area or state that mayhelp me in my research. Any info would be great.
