I am researching my GGF who was Cherokee and born in South West City, MO on8/20/1859 His surname was Grayhown. I believe his mother to be Ka Hawker Bushyhead whom I find on the Dawes Commission Roles. I find numerous bits of info on other Bushyhead's but cannot link Ka Hawker to any. My GGF later used the name James Madison Graham and in the 1910 census used the name James Madison Grayhown. I am trying to determine if SW City, MO has a Family History Center or if there are other resources in the area or state that may help me in my research. Any info would be great.
