Maureen -- I believe the MO state school for the deaf is in Fulton, MO. Have you tried looking there? I don't know what county Fulton is in. Also there are two private schools for the deaf in St. Louis, MO. One is Central Institute for the Deaf (my alma mater). The other is St. Joseph School for the Deaf. In the old days, the family will often send the deaf child to board at the school, even if out of the county, and have the child visit home during vacation breaks. I hope this helps.
