Wow what a stink the "ole" rollcall word causes, lol. I have no counties or dates to add that are definite. I have my good old gr grand daddy Smith R.Turner, Sr's name. On the Calif 1900 census it says he was b. in Mo, Dec 1824 and that he resides at the Old Soldiers Home in Los Angeles. He was buried at the Los Angeles Memorial Cemetery and his marker reads: Turner, Smith R, d. 08/03/1902, G 3RD MISSOURI INF, Plot: 7 12/B, * The Mo archives sent me a copy of a card for a Smith R Turner who served in the Mexican war. So, if anyone has a Mo Turner with some combination of those initials (S, R, Smith or something close to that) and fall somewhere inbetween 1820's and 1850's please contact me. Otherwise if I haven't been deleted already here is your chance. Thanks, Bobbi Turner Capello
