This is my first posting to this list. I have not researched for anyone in Missouri before. Right now my only surname is CASSIDY. Does Missouri have a death index similar to the one in Illinois? I finally found my ancestor as a 7 year old child in the 1880 census, but I believe her mother had died by then. Since I don't know her first name, I wanted to search all females surnamed Cassidy who died during that time period. I would start with St. Louis, because that is where the family lived in the 1880 census. Her father went by A. Cassidy, so it looks like I have a lot more work to do. Thank you for any advice, Diane
