I know this is off topic in a way. but could the answer please be posted to the list I to would like to learn how to sort my ancestor's as I lost my computer with all my family tree from 1998 on and all my Genelogy notes I have most on hard copy that I can type into this old computer but have limited hard drive so If I could type it all in and then sort it to the family it applies to It would really help. a lot of what I have are notes taken on envelopes and scraps of paper what I saved of them I would be talking to my Mom ( died July 20, 1999) and would take notes on what ever I had handy then put them on the Computer. if there is a way of sorting information so we could take what we wanted it sure would make things easier. I have Word 97 on this computer where I had Word perfect 7 on the one I got last year but on that one I had Giga bites so did not worrie about having duplicates.
