Hello from Snowy Salina, KS I have updated the Shannon Co. Site and added a Lookup page of Volunteers. Now to be truthful I found a file, which I had overlooked and I added a new Volunteer to the list of lookups, Cathy Patterson who has roots deep in Shannon Co. Come take a look I have also started a PhotoShop. I thought I would start it off with a photo of my dad who was from the Welch Cave area. He dearly loved the Current River and the hills. I am sorry I am not able to accept your photos, my computer won't hold all of them. But I am able to link and will be happy to do so. Ona Fern has started on the "P" Obits and that project is coming along nicely. Last week prior to my foot operation, which has me hobbled, I started copying my Shannon Co. Census microfilms. Hopefully I will be able to start this project soon. As of now, I am working diligently on the Kansas Civil War Regimental History' s and Muster Lists.
