    2. Carolyn Sue, Am in a similar position as you, with my German ancestors. I have some dates & places, but several blank spots... If you get any ideas or helpful hints off-list concerning how, what steps to take, where to look etc would you mind either sending me a copy or putting the whole thing on the list? I would *really* appreciate it. TIA, Anna T-town ________________________________________________________________ GET INTERNET ACCESS FROM JUNO! Juno offers FREE or PREMIUM Internet access for less! 1. [MO] George, Solomon, Wooten Households
    2. david george
    3. Dear Friends Received a large package in the mail today from the Pioneer Memorial Library in FBG, TX. I had asked the genealogy researcher to check the 1880, 1900 and 1910 census for Gillespie County and copy anything she found on a George, Solomon or Wooten Household. There are many interesting facts of corse, to start with no Wootens were found, I sort of expected that and have similar records on the way from the nice people in Llano Co., next my puzzle over what W.D.George was doing selling his farm and moving to Willow City. You can't farm in the city! The 1910 no longer show him as a farmer but as a Retail Merchant / Grocer. Now were did I hear about his store burning? That also answers my question as to why he bought two lots when he moved to Willow City rather then one. Obviously one was for the store the other for the house. Census show J. Solomon with Mildred at 4 months old. The 1880s do have A.G. George as my GGM, any one know what Henrietta's middle name was? I will be very happy to share these records but not to sure how well they will copy, guess we'll see. I'll be in touch. David George __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? 1. [MO] census records
    2. Kathy Lenz
    3. Hello to all! When did the census records first occur in Missouri and for what parts of the state and what census records are available for Missouri? I know there is state and federal but is there any other type of census? I am trying to find out about my 2nd Great Grandfather's ancestors and siblings and his wife. Their names are Amos Wright and Minerva/Manerva Shadden. Both were born in Missouri in 1825. I am not sure where at. Amos' parents were born in Kentucky and Minerva's parents were born in Tenn. The first census I had found them on was in 1850 in Putman county, Missouri. I am at a brick wall with them. Thanks Kathy
