    3. Don, Could you tell us what that "local newspaper" might be and what county you're referring to? Lots and lots of folks migrated from Hickory Co., MO, to the Redlands area between about 1895 and 1915. I'd love to know what happened to a number of them. 2. The Cook's
    3. Good Morning, I am trying to find information concerning my ggGrandparents, Stephen GOODALE and Paulina WATSON. I've checked Ohio, where Stephen was born and Kentucky where Paulina was born and wondered if anyone on this Missouri list would have access to marriage or death records could possibly look them up for me. I don't believe they were married in 1880. In the 1900 St. Joe, Mo. Census they state they were married 17 years - that would put it around 1883 or so. Thank you for your time, Marie Cook -----Original Message----- From: Jan Ashford [mailto:Jan@theAshfords.org] Sent: Tuesday, April 30, 2002 8:43 PM To: The Cook's Subject: Re: [KENTUCKIANA-L] marriage look-up request - Goodale and Watson I could not find Paulina Watson anywhere in KY or MO, but here is Stephen in MO. Given her age in 1880, I would suspect that she had been married before she married Stephen. I would look for a marriage record in MO, probably in Buchanan Co. 2. The Cook's
    3. Help!! I've been transcribing records sent to me for the US genweb project for Mr. Gerald Hirsh of the Missouri State Archives. He sends me the excel template to which I transcribe and add death records that he sends from various counties in Missouri. Just this morning I was ready to add page number 26 and somehow have lost all the work that I've done to this point and also can't retrieve his email address so that I can notify him. I can start over again as I still have the hard copy but need the excel template resent to me. I feel so foolish and have no idea what happened. Marie Cook

    1. [MO] MULL's 1882/3
    2. I just received a marraige certificate for great-aunt Pearly (Pearl) Mull and HH (Henry) Mull. I found it in Gallitin Co., IL and I had believed that she was born in Warrick Co, IN and that due to the year there was no birth certificate. The marriage certificate indicates that she was born in MO but does not list County. She would have been born between May 30th 1882 and June 1st 1883 by what the birth certificate indicates. Anyone have any ideas or knowledge on the best way to takle this? I know that there were not a lot of birth certificates being done at this time and I am not so sure they were not visiting relatives or something like that since I know her brother (my great grandfather) was born in 1880 in Warrick Co, IN as were two other sibling in the late 1890s. Thanks Lies

    3. Connie Scantlan Smith; Connie, are you on this mailing list? I was looking around this morning at gencircles and see that you are descended from the Sherrills on my mothers side (my gGrandmother) and also have from my fathers side my own Grandmother, Lillian Evalina LILES. I thought this wouldn't be possible for us to share both sides of the family like this unless you were my own sibling. Learn something everyday..I would love to exchange information. Thank you, Marie Cook *I place this message with the Missouri mailing list as both Liles and Sherrills wound up in Missouri* "The ground on which we stand is sacred ground.
